Aimee and Jaguar

Aimée & Jaguar

Overall - GOOD

Acting - C

StoryLine- A

Chemistry- B

Love Scenes- D

Rent or Own- Rent

In a word or two- "Beautiful story, terrible love scene"

The storyline was excellent.  This is a foreign film set in World War II Germany around two very opposite who find attraction and passion.  The acting was better then many lesbian movies, but not superb by any means. Maria Schrader carries the film as the outgoing Felice, a courageous Jewish woman living in Berlin during World War II. Juliane Köhler as Lilly portrays her character as so quirky and odd that it makes the movie less enjoyable.  We rated the Love Scene as a "D" because Juliane Köhler love scene acting was just weird.

All Over Me

Overall - GOOD, but slow moving

Acting - B

StoryLine- A

Chemistry- B

Love Scenes- N/A

Rent or Own- Rent

In a word or two- "lesbian teenage angst"

The storyline was excellent, depressing but very good nonetheless. The film is set in Hells Kitchen, New York around Claude, a confused teenage girl looking for love with her delinquent best friend Ellen.  Ellen is obsessed with her bad boy boyfriend while Claude constantly rescue's Ellen from her boyfriend, from drugs and from herself.  Leisha Hailey has a great role in the film as Lucy, a punker whom befriends Claude and becomes a love interest. The movie is about the coming of age for an adolescent lesbian.  It's good.  There are no real love scenes to comment on.

Amour de Femme

Amour de Femme

Overall - Very GOOD, very passionate

Acting - C+

StoryLine- B

Chemistry- B+

Love Scenes- B+

Rent or Own- Rent, maybe own

In a word or two- "Excellent chemistry between the actresses"

The storyline was good.  This is a foreign film set France today when a

bored wife and mother, Jeanne meets the eccentric dancer Marie at a birthday party. The two women almost immediately form an intense attraction.

The movie is full of angst and anticipation and it delivers nicely.

The love scenes are also very nice.
